About Us
KARVE is building Karve OS, a Mission Management Suite for defence, national security and regulated environments. The platform combines mission planning, data integration, workflow orchestration, analytics and graph-based insight. The aim is to build a practical, secure and useful product rather than over-engineered architecture for its own sake.
The Role
We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer / Quality Engineer to build release confidence for Karve OS. This is automation-led quality engineering, not manual testing as a late-stage gate.
Role Purpose and Context
The role will define practical testing patterns across frontend, backend APIs, data workflows and releases so the team can move quickly without accumulating manual regression debt.
Skill Requirements
The intention is to widen the recruitment pool without lowering the bar. Candidates should be strong across the must-have areas; the should-have and bonus areas are differentiators, not blockers.

What You Will Be Doing
• Define an automation-led test strategy for Karve OS.
• Build automated smoke, API and regression tests for critical workflows.
• Work with engineers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD and release-readiness processes.
• Support data validation and edge-case testing across product workflows.
• Report quality risks clearly and pragmatically.
How We Work
• Pragmatic engineering over unnecessary complexity.
• Strong application delivery, with architecture that serves the product.
• Security, testing and observability considered from the start.
• Clear ownership, collaborative working and lightweight documentation.
• Candidates do not need every tool in the future-state stack; we value strong fundamentals and learning ability.
What Good Looks Like
• Critical workflows have automated smoke and regression coverage.
• QA is embedded into development rather than waiting at the end.
• Release decisions are supported by clear evidence.
• The team moves faster because quality risk is visible and controlled.
Application Process
To apply, submit a CV and a short note outlining your relevant experience and interest in Karve OS. KARVE is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
