About Us

KARVE is building Karve OS, a Mission Management Suite for defence, national security and regulated environments. The platform combines mission planning, data integration, workflow orchestration, analytics and graph-based insight. The aim is to build a practical, secure and useful product rather than over-engineered architecture for its own sake.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to make Karve OS clear, usable and credible for users operating in complex mission-management workflows. The role is frontend-led; backend, AWS and graph knowledge are useful but should not be barriers to strong frontend candidates.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Frontend Engineer will establish practical frontend patterns, build reusable components and turn complex data, workflow and evidence views into intuitive product experiences.

Skill Requirements

The intention is to widen the recruitment pool without lowering the bar. Candidates should be strong across the must-have areas; the should-have and bonus areas are differentiators, not blockers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build modern user interfaces using React, Next.js and TypeScript.

• Create reusable UI components and workflow patterns.

• Integrate with REST/OpenAPI services and collaborate closely with backend engineers.

• Improve usability, accessibility and performance across core Karve OS workflows.

• Support frontend testing and release confidence.

• Help ensure Karve OS feels like a coherent product, not a set of disconnected screens.

How We Work

• Pragmatic engineering over unnecessary complexity.

• Strong application delivery, with architecture that serves the product.

• Security, testing and observability considered from the start.

• Clear ownership, collaborative working and lightweight documentation.

• Candidates do not need every tool in the future-state stack; we value strong fundamentals and learning ability.

What Good Looks Like

• Frontend application structure and reusable component patterns are established.

• Key workflows are easier for users to understand and complete.

• The product experience is more coherent, performant and maintainable.

• Other engineers can contribute to frontend work using clear patterns.

Application Process

To apply, submit a CV and a short note outlining your relevant experience and interest in Karve OS. KARVE is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
