About Us
KARVE is building Karve OS, a Mission Management Suite for defence, national security and regulated environments. The platform combines mission planning, data integration, workflow orchestration, analytics and graph-based insight. The aim is to build a practical, secure and useful product rather than over-engineered architecture for its own sake.
The Role
We are hiring Senior Full Stack Engineers to build the core Karve OS product. The role is aimed at strong app builders with enough breadth to work across frontend, backend, APIs and data-connected workflows. We do not expect every candidate to be a platform architect; the aim is to attract strong generalists who can grow into the track that suits them as the team scales.
Role Purpose and Context
Senior Full Stack Engineers will own product features from design through build, test and release. They should bring strong software fundamentals, good judgement and the ability to collaborate closely with Principal, Platform, Frontend, QA and data-focused colleagues.
Skill Requirements
The intention is to widen the recruitment pool without lowering the bar. Candidates should be strong across the must-have areas; the should-have and bonus areas are differentiators, not blockers.

What You Will Be Doing
• Build full-stack product features using React / Next.js, TypeScript, Python / FastAPI and PostgreSQL.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and OpenAPI documentation.
• Work with AWS-hosted application services and collaborate with Platform on deployment patterns.
• Write maintainable, secure and testable code.
• Contribute to system design discussions without needing to own all architecture decisions.
• Grow towards a suitable track such as backend, integrations, product engineering, data workflows or technical ownership.
How We Work
• Pragmatic engineering over unnecessary complexity.
• Strong application delivery, with architecture that serves the product.
• Security, testing and observability considered from the start.
• Clear ownership, collaborative working and lightweight documentation.
• Candidates do not need every tool in the future-state stack; we value strong fundamentals and learning ability.
What Good Looks Like
• Core product features are shipping regularly.
• Owned features include appropriate tests and documentation.
• The engineer has become a dependable owner of one or more product areas.
• A likely growth path is becoming clear as the team scales.
Application Process
To apply, submit a CV and a short note outlining your relevant experience and interest in Karve OS. KARVE is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
