About Us
KARVE is building Karve OS, a Mission Management Suite for defence, national security and regulated environments. The platform combines mission planning, data integration, workflow orchestration, analytics and graph-based insight. The aim is to build a practical, secure and useful product rather than over-engineered architecture for its own sake.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to support Karve OS application delivery in a governed AWS environment. The role should enable product engineering rather than become a separate infrastructure programme.
Role Purpose and Context
The Senior Platform Engineer will help establish secure, repeatable and observable delivery foundations: AWS environments, CI/CD, Docker/ECS deployment, secrets, monitoring and sensible guardrails for engineers.
Skill Requirements
The intention is to widen the recruitment pool without lowering the bar. Candidates should be strong across the must-have areas; the should-have and bonus areas are differentiators, not blockers.

What You Will Be Doing
• Create and maintain practical AWS delivery foundations for Karve OS.
• Build CI/CD pipelines that support frequent, safe product releases.
• Support Docker/ECS-based deployment patterns and environment management.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting that help engineers operate the product.
• Work with application engineers to remove friction without weakening security.
• Document platform patterns clearly enough for a growing engineering team.
How We Work
• Pragmatic engineering over unnecessary complexity.
• Strong application delivery, with architecture that serves the product.
• Security, testing and observability considered from the start.
• Clear ownership, collaborative working and lightweight documentation.
• Candidates do not need every tool in the future-state stack; we value strong fundamentals and learning ability.
What Good Looks Like
• Developers can build, test and deploy through repeatable paths.
• Environments are observable, documented and not manually changed in production.
• Security controls are practical and embedded into the delivery workflow.
• Platform work is clearly enabling app delivery.
Application Process
To apply, submit a CV and a short note outlining your relevant experience and interest in Karve OS. KARVE is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes qualified candidates from all backgrounds.
