Dr. Bryan Wells has recently completed six years as NATO Chief Scientist (2019-2025), before which he had worked for 30 years at the UK Ministry of Defence. He is now Chair of the Board of Directors of the von Karman Institute of Fluid Dynamics in Belgium, Europe’s principal international hypersonics research centre, and holds a visiting professorship at Imperial College London.
